Jan and Geri created a unique piece of art, called "Facets" that was in the form of boxes, each box representing different facets of Jan's life, recovery, and current challenges with cancer. The piece holds very personal "touch stones' and reminders of Jan's surgeries and chemotherapy treatments. In addition to photos of her support network to whom she was very grateful, you can observe objects throughout the piece such as rubber gloves, tubing, suppositories, and pills. The piece reflects both the intensity and courage, as well as the humor that is required in survivorship.
